LA GRANGE — James Warren Jones Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born to the late Kent Warren and Sara Katherine De Monbrun Jones on June 20, 1940 in Louisville.
Jim was a proud United States Army Veteran, retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of New Life Church in Louisville.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years; Anna LaVern Corder Jones, son; James Warren Jones Jr. and a brother; Gary Kent Jones.
Left to cherish the memory of Jim are his son; Matthew Clifford Jones, three grandchildren, a brother; Ronald David Jones, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with burial following in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until start of the service at the funeral home.
